An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until 28-September-2022
We walk the Malecon to help dogs get more socialized with other dogs and to desensitize them to the noises of a busy street so that when they get adopted they are well prepared. Some of us have more than one foster dog in our homes and we would love help from volunteers. It is just 1 to 1 1/2 hours of time and it helps us so much! Because the parking lot can be full at Los Cocos, some of us Park at Antiguo Mercardo des pescadores which is the next parking lot south. We walk between those two locations. We do not all walk together – sometimes we split up so the dogs do not see their foster mom and learn to walk with other humans.
