From clinic care and foster homes to transportation and adoptions, every step of the journey is powered by people who believe no dog should be left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In La Paz, local rescuers\u2014known as&nbsp;<em>rescatistas<\/em>\u2014open their homes to dogs in need, nursing them back to health and preparing them for adoption. Some spend months, even years, rehabilitating a single dog before saying a bittersweet goodbye and starting again with the next one in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We support these&nbsp;rescatistas&nbsp;with food, veterinary care, and adoption outreach, ensuring they have the resources to continue their lifesaving work. Along the way, they also inspire their communities\u2014teaching friends, family, and neighbors about responsible pet care and the importance of sterilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every adoption is more than a happy ending\u2014it\u2019s the start of another rescue. Our team carefully matches dogs with loving homes, ensuring each adoption is a fresh start for both dog and family. Dedicated volunteers drive them from La Paz to San Diego, where they fly to their new families.
