In the heart of Esterito, one of La Paz\u2019s oldest neighborhoods, many families deeply love their pets\u2014but simply don\u2019t have funds for proper veterinary care. Dogs and cats roam freely, not always because they\u2019re unwanted, but because this has been the culture for generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When pets go unvaccinated, unsterilized, and untreated for parasites, they face a daily risk of illness, abandonment, or worse. But you can help us change that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is Cl\u00ednica 4 Patas: Bienestar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cl\u00ednica 4 Patas: Bienestar is our expanded effort to bring not just sterilization, but basic wellness care and education o the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With your help, we\u2019re providing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Vaccines to prevent deadly diseases like parvo, distemper, and panleukopenia<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Flea & tick prevention so pets stay healthy and can safely undergo surgery<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Spay\/neuter services to prevent suffering from unwanted litters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Simple educational materials for families on how to care for their dogs and cats<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Low cost collars and pet tags<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Hazel\u2019s Story: Why Prevention Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One morning, we found three tiny puppies left at our doorstep\u2014scared, dirty, and sick. Hazel and her two siblings were battling parvo, a deadly and fast-spreading virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Thanks to emergency care\u2014including IV fluids and medication\u2014all three survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Today, Hazel is healthy, happy, and ready for adoption. But the truth is: this suffering was preventable. Had their mother been vaccinated and spayed, those puppies would never have had to fight for their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Charlene Angelo <\/strong>(cangelo87) has been rescuing dogs since 2014 in La Paz, Mexico. She formed the Mexican charity, Amigos de 4 Patas in 2017 and Hope 4 La Pawz in 2021 to work within the local La Paz communities to save and rehabilitate more dogs.
