She loves other dogs, enjoys meeting new people, and has never understood why anyone would want to sit around when there&#8217;s a perfectly good yard available for running.<\/p>\n\n<p>She is particularly enthusiastic about canine friendships. Give her some friendly dogs, a few toys, and room to play, and Laverne considers the party officially started.<\/p>\n\n<p>Her story began with a rather unfortunate change of address.<\/p>\n\n<p>Laverne and her sister were found abandoned along a highway. They appeared to have been cared for previously, but somehow ended up without a home. Fortunately, they were brought to safety, where Laverne wasted very little time making herself comfortable.<\/p>\n\n<p>New people? Wonderful.<\/p>\n\n<p>New dogs? Even better.<\/p>\n\n<p>A whole new environment to explore? Where do we begin?<\/p>\n\n<p>Laverne has already learned to come when called, although she still has plenty of other important grown-up dog skills to master.
