Check.\n\n<\/p><p>Stay? Check.<\/p>\n\n<p>Come when called? Check.<\/p>\n\n<p>Walk nicely alongside her human? Check.<\/p>\n\n<p>Fetch and return a toy? Absolutely!<\/p>\n\n<p>She&#8217;s practically ready to teach the class.<\/p>\n\n<p>But Tana isn&#8217;t all business. She loves affection, especially gentle pets on her face and back. She&#8217;s healthy, active, and has grown up knowing what it means to be part of a family.<\/p>\n\n<p>Unfortunately, sometimes even a much-loved dog needs a different home.<\/p>\n\n<p>Like many dogs, Tana barks when unfamiliar people or animals appear. In her current household, that barking has become particularly difficult for a family member who is sensitive to noise. Her family wants her to have a home where she can be herself without causing distress to someone she loves.<\/p>\n\n<p>And Tana has quite a lot of herself to share!<\/p>\n\n<p>She enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, loves exercise, and would be delighted with a large, securely fenced yard where she can run, jump, and play.<\/p>\n\n<p>Her energy level is moderate, but she needs a family that enjoys being active. Apartment living or a household where everyone prefers the couch to the outdoors wouldn&#8217;t be her best match.<\/p>\n\n<p>She hasn&#8217;t lived with children, so her behavior around them is not yet known.<\/p>\n\n<p>Tana is looking for someone who appreciates an intelligent, affectionate companion with an adventurous spirit\u2014and who understands that she may announce the arrival of unfamiliar visitors.<\/p>\n\n<p>In return, she&#8217;ll bring enthusiasm, companionship, plenty of affection, and a very important question every morning:<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;So, where are we going today?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tana is the Adventure Coordinator!
