Mutt Strut 2026 – Thank you for making it possible
Thanks to the amazing generosity of our community, the 2026 Mutt Strut was a tremendous success!
Together we raised enough funds to purchase a portable X-ray machine for Clínica 4 Patas — equipment that will allow us to diagnose injuries faster, reduce suffering, and provide better care for rescued pets.
Why this matters:
Injured animals often have suffered a trauma — but without imaging, we cannot see what is happening inside their bodies.
This new X-ray machine will allow our veterinary team to quickly identify fractures, internal injuries, and other conditions so treatment can begin faster.

What’s Next?
While we have successfully funded the X-ray machine itself, we are continuing to raise funds for the radiation safety equipment needed to operate it safely, including lead aprons, gloves, thyroid collars, protective eyewear, and personal radiation dosimeters for our veterinary team.
These items protect the people who care for the animals and ensure the clinic operates according to proper radiology safety standards.
