She was born to a neighborhood dog who has been fed and cared for for years. After being spayed, the plan was to release her again because her foster already had many dogs. But Petie had other ideas - after slipping out one day, she returned that same night, scratching at the door, asking to come back inside. She chose her home with determination and charm.
