I am Max, a sweet, shy, and cheerful boy who is learning how good life can be.

I love to run, play, and then curl up for a good nap. I did not have the best start, so it takes me a little time to trust new people, but once I do, I am all love and tenderness.

My rescuer found me eating from the trash. I was very thin and covered in ticks. I was tired, scared, and just trying to survive. Little by little, I have gained strength, confidence, and joy. Now I am ready for a home where I can feel safe and loved.

My ideal home is one where I can go out every day to run and play, where I am spoiled with affection, and where love is unconditional. A place without activity, without space, or without kindness would not be right for me. I deserve a family who sees how special I am.
