I’m Max, Máximo, Maximiliano. When I was born, my mom said: this baby looks a lot like Rick Astley: red-haired, easygoing, affectionate… the maximum best! And the name stuck. I’m more than a dog; I’m like a river, because I flow, I refresh, and I brighten your day.

The other day, while I was relaxing in the sun, I overheard the human who takes care of me telling another human that I’m like a walking happiness pill. Honestly, I don’t really know what that means, although it sounded nice, so I went over, gave her a kiss, and winked.

Actually, everything sounds nice to me. You call me: I smile. We go for a walk: I smile. We stay home: I smile. You take me to meet other dogs, and guess what… I smile! I think it’s innate, really. That’s why, when I came into this world, my mom whispered in my ear: “My little boy… you’re the maximum best!”
