Hi, I’m Louie!

I’m a playful, curious, and very sociable chunky guy. I’m a real dog of a dog. I love doing dog things: going for walks, chewing on toys or sticks, and taking long naps in the shade, by the fireplace, or—even better—right next to you.

I’m a lucky guy: I was dropped off at my rescuer’s house when I was about eight weeks old. I was clean and healthy, so I’ve never lived on the streets. As I grew up, I turned into a medium-sized dog—which I think is the perfect size for living on this crazy planet. I get along great with other dogs, and I’ve never met a cat, so I’m not sure how I’d react—though I’d love to find out, since I enjoy new experiences.

When I dream about my ideal home, I picture a yard to run around in, humans who spend lots of time with me, and other chunky dogs to play with.

I wouldn’t want to move to a home where I’m left alone for long periods or can’t hang out with my humans… I love humans: I’m affectionate, I have a happy temperament, and—let me tell you something—I am totally ready to let you adore me…
