Every great adventure needs someone with a plan.

Apparently, that’s Louise.

Between the famous sisters of Thelma and Louise, Louise is the slightly bigger, more independent one—and the self-appointed leader of the operation. If something interesting is happening, chances are Louise noticed it first, decided it deserved investigation, and recruited Thelma to come along.

Louise is a happy, playful, high-energy puppy with an impressive enthusiasm for life. She loves toys, other dogs, attention from her humans and any opportunity to run, explore or turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure. Sitting around doing nothing is not currently part of her five-year plan.

Louise and her sister Thelma appeared together at a back door, extremely thin and undernourished. Whether they wandered off on an ambitious expedition or were abandoned, nobody knows. Either way, Louise seems to have decided that chapter is finished. There are much more important things to organize now.

Like playtime.

Louise would love a home with room to run and people who enjoy an active dog. Another playful dog with similar energy would make an excellent accomplice, although despite their famous partnership, Louise and Thelma are not a bonded pair and can happily be adopted separately. She’s also still very young, which means the mastermind currently has considerably more enthusiasm than formal education.

Louise needs someone willing to continue her puppy training and teach her all the useful grown-up skills she hasn’t mastered yet. Fortunately, she’s curious, engaged and has plenty of opportunities ahead of her to learn. What Louise doesn’t need is a quiet life spent alone. She wants people. She wants play. She wants adventures.

And she would very much like to be involved in deciding what everyone does next.

After all, somebody has to drive.
