Bringing Hope Through Medical Supplies: How You Can Help Us via Not Just Tourists (NJT)

At Hope 4 La Pawz, we rely heavily on donated medical supplies to provide essential care for the dogs we rescue. From sutures for surgeries to wound care, the supplies we receive help us rehabilitate dogs and prepare them for their new homes. One of the most impactful ways you can contribute is by bringing veterinary supplies with you when you travel to La Paz.

We are proud to be registered with Not Just Tourists (NJT), a global organization that connects travelers with charities in need of medical supplies. Through NJT, travelers like you can help transport critical items to our veterinary clinic, making a direct impact on the lives of rescued dogs.

How you can help

Wherever you’re coming from, if you’re planning a trip to La Paz, you can bring a suitcase of much-needed supplies through NJT. Not Just Tourists makes it easy for travelers to pack and transport these items safely and efficiently, ensuring that your trip also helps save lives.

What Is Not Just Tourists (NJT)?

NJT is a volunteer-based organization that collects surplus medical supplies and matches them with travelers who are willing to deliver them to places in need. It’s a simple yet powerful way to help communities around the world—and in our case, it helps us care for the dogs at Hope 4 La Pawz.

How It Works:

  1. Contact NJT: Reach out to your local NJT chapter to find out how you can carry a suitcase of medical supplies to La Paz.
  2. Receive Your Suitcase: NJT will prepare a suitcase filled with the veterinary supplies we need. It’s easy and hassle-free!
  3. Deliver to Hope 4 La Pawz: Upon your arrival, you can drop off the suitcase at our clinic, and we’ll put the supplies to immediate use. Contact us at admin@hope4lapawz.org to let us know when you plan to arrive and we’ll be waiting for you.
