Foster Parent

Open Your Home and Heart: Become a Foster Parent!

Do you have a passion for helping dogs find their forever homes? We need compassionate foster parents in the US to care for adoption-ready dogs and assist in their journey to a loving family. As a foster parent, you’ll play a crucial role in the transition from their rehabilitation in La Paz to finding their forever home.

Where you can volunteer:

  • San Diego, CA
  • Portland, OR
  • Seattle, WA
  • Other locations (subject to transport availability)

What You’ll Do:

As a foster parent, you’ll welcome a dog into your home, providing love and care until they are adopted. Our adoption coordinators will support you every step of the way, from advertising the dog and reviewing applications to conducting interviews with potential adopters. You’ll be actively involved in assessing the best home for the dog, ensuring they find the perfect match.

How It Works:

We handle the logistics of transporting the dog to you and provide everything you need, including food, a crate, and supplies. Whether you’re in San Diego, Portland, Seattle, or another location, we can work out the details. Our dogs are fully vaccinated, sterilized, and have been fostered in La Paz, so we have a good understanding of their health and temperament.

Why Foster?

Fostering is a rewarding experience that not only helps a dog in need but also brings joy and companionship to your home. You’ll be the bridge between a dog’s past and their bright future, playing a vital role in their journey to find a forever family. Plus, if you have cats, many of our dogs are cat-friendly, so don’t let that stop you!
