As an Adoption Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to find loving, permanent homes for dogs rescued from the streets of La Paz, Mexico. Our adoption process is thorough because we believe every dog deserves a forever home, not just a temporary stop. You’ll be part of a compassionate team that takes the time to match each dog with the perfect family, ensuring a lifelong bond.

The good news is that you can help us from anywhere!

A good share of the work we do is via Zoom video calls with applicants as well as rescuers/fosters of the dogs in La Paz. If you can make a video call on your computer and have a passion to help dogs find their furever home, you can do this!

What you’ll do:

As an Adoption Coordinator, you’ll review adoption applications, conduct interviews, and perform home checks (either in person or virtually). You’ll communicate with potential adopters, providing them with all necessary information about the dogs, including any medical history and special needs. You’ll also follow up post-adoption to ensure a smooth transition for the dog and the family.

Training and Support:

Don’t worry if you’re new to this! We offer comprehensive training, including a Volunteer Orientation and a Basic Adoption Training Course. Plus, you’ll receive on-the-job training to help you excel in your role.
