The Amigos de 4 Patas Store is now open at regular hours. Wednesdays from 3 pm – 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am – 2:30 pm. The store is located on the corner of Revolucion and Pineda, a small white casita. We are well stocked with leashes and collars, toys and gifts too. Today we are going to tell you about our dog food line.
If you are spending time in La Paz and the surrounding area with your pets this winter, you will want to know that Amigos de 4 Patas is introducing the Diamond line of dry dog and cat food. The profit of every bag we sell feeds 1 rescue dog in our system for a week. Dog food is our largest expense by far and if you choose to help by buying your dog food from us you will help rescue dogs in La Paz.
The store stocks limited supplies of the Diamond Naturals line that includes, Small Breed Puppy, Small Breed adult (chicken), Senior (chicken), Adult (lamb & rice), and Large Breed puppy (chicken) all in 6-pound bags. We also have Adult cat and Kitten dry food in 6-pound bags. Larger bags are available on order. Order On-Line by Thursday at noon and you can pick it up on Saturday at the store.

Whether you buy your dog’s premium food from your veterinarian or order it online I am sure that we can find comparable food from our suppliers. Many veterinarians in La Paz stock Purina Pro Plan, Royal Canin, or Diamond brands. Prices are comparable across the board for the same brands, but Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice was selected by Dog Food Advisor as one of their “most affordable dog foods. Highly recommended.”

We will also order Diamond Care, a specialty line that provides dry dog food for Sensitive Stomach and Sensitive Skin, Weight Management, as well as dry cat food targeting Weight Management and Urinary Support. The dog food comes in either an 8-pound or 25-pound bag. The cat food comes in either a 6-pound or 15-pound bag.
For those of you who are looking for a grain-free option for your pet, we can also order Taste of the Wild brand dog and cat food in 5, 14, or 28-pound bags. In addition, we can order canned dog and cat food as well.
